CIPAD works with young people, women, and communities to turn local challenges into opportunities for change. Our programs combine practical skills, community participation, partnerships, and locally driven solutions to strengthen livelihoods, expand opportunities, and build more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities.
Our work is organized around four interconnected areas:
Economic opportunity is central to building resilient individuals and communities. CIPAD supports young people and women to develop the skills, knowledge, confidence, and connections they need to pursue decent work, start and grow enterprises, and strengthen their livelihoods.
We provide and facilitate access to vocational, entrepreneurship, digital, and financial skills, while connecting people to markets, mentorship, savings and other economic opportunities. We
particularly seek to create pathways for people who face barriers to employment and economic participation.
Our aim is not simply to provide training, but to help people turn skills into opportunities, opportunities into livelihoods, and livelihoods into greater economic independence.
